This Privacy Policy explains how ManMaxxing (“ManMaxxing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the ManMaxxing iOS application, visit this website, or contact support. ManMaxxing is intended only for adults aged 18 or older.
1. Information kept on your device
Sensitive onboarding answers and wellness information—including pelvic-floor training activity, routines, check-ins, progress, Wellness Age assessments, habit-reset pledges, setback check-ins, and related preferences—are stored locally on your device. We do not upload this sensitive questionnaire or progress information to our servers. This local information may be included in device backups according to your Apple and iCloud settings.
2. Information used to operate the app
The app uses Firebase Authentication to create an anonymous account. We may process the resulting anonymous user identifier, Firebase App Check tokens, request quota counters, timestamps, pseudonymous or hashed safety identifiers, and limited operational logs needed to secure, troubleshoot, and keep the service available. These records are not designed to identify you by name.
3. AI Wellness Coach
When you use the Wellness Coach, your message, a limited amount of recent chat context held in memory, and your locale are sent securely to Firebase Functions and then to OpenAI to generate a response. For health and wellness questions, OpenAI also uses web-source retrieval to find authoritative supporting information and return citation links. Search queries may be derived from your message for that purpose. ManMaxxing does not store conversation text as chat history in its Firestore database. Recent context is used only while needed to support the current conversation and is discarded from app memory when that session ends or the app clears it.
Citation links identify third-party source websites. If you open one, your browser connects to that website, which may receive ordinary request information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page requested under its own privacy policy.
OpenAI states that content submitted through its API is not used to train its models by default. OpenAI may retain API content for abuse monitoring for up to 30 days unless a different retention control applies. Learn more in OpenAI’s API data controls.
The Wellness Coach provides educational wellness information. It is not a medical service and does not diagnose or replace a qualified healthcare professional. Do not include names, contact details, or other information that you do not want processed by these providers.
4. Purchases and subscriptions
Apple processes App Store purchases and payment information. We do not receive your full payment-card details. RevenueCat helps us validate purchases and manage subscription entitlements and may receive an app user identifier, product and transaction information, subscription status, device and app information, and related diagnostics.
5. Attribution, tracking, and advertising identifiers
The app contains an AppsFlyer integration that may be enabled to measure app-install attribution. If enabled, AppsFlyer may process device, app, campaign, and attribution data. The advertising identifier (IDFA) is collected only after you grant Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. If you do not grant permission, IDFA is not collected. We do not send sensitive onboarding answers, wellness check-ins, training history, or habit-reset information to AppsFlyer for attribution. ManMaxxing does not show third-party advertising.
6. Notifications
If you enable reminders, the app schedules local notifications on your device. Notification preferences and schedules remain on your device. You can change notification permission at any time in iOS Settings.
7. Support and website information
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and attachments. We use it to respond and resolve your request. This website is hosted by GitHub Pages. We do not use analytics, advertising pixels, cookies, contact forms, or third-party fonts. GitHub may nevertheless process standard hosting logs such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timestamps for security and service operation under its own policies.
8. How information is used
We use the limited information described above to provide the app, generate Wellness Coach replies, validate subscriptions, apply quotas, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, respond to support, measure attribution only when enabled, and comply with law. We do not sell personal information.
9. Sharing and service providers
We disclose information only as needed to the providers described here: Apple, Firebase and Google Cloud, OpenAI, RevenueCat, AppsFlyer if enabled, GitHub Pages, and email infrastructure used for support. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
10. Retention and deletion
Local wellness data remains on your device until you reset or delete it, delete the app, or erase the device or its backup. Anonymous service records, quota counters, safety records, and operational logs are retained only as long as reasonably needed for operation, security, abuse prevention, and legal obligations, then deleted or de-identified. Support emails are retained as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain appropriate business records.
You can remove local app data using in-app reset controls or by deleting the app. You may also email contact@trybucketly.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of server-side information associated with your anonymous account. Because the account is anonymous, we may ask for an in-app identifier or other information needed to locate the record, and in some cases we may be unable to link a request to a specific record.
11. International processing
Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Those locations may have different data-protection laws from your country. Where required, providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted network connections, anonymous authentication, App Check, access controls, quota enforcement, and data minimization. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. You can also decline tracking permission, disable notifications, avoid the Wellness Coach, manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account, and remove local information as described above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.
14. Adults only
ManMaxxing is designed for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information through the service, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app or legal requirements change. We will post the updated policy here and revise the effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the app when appropriate.
16. Contact
For privacy questions or requests, contact the operator, ManMaxxing, at contact@trybucketly.com.
